What is the Krillion game?
Krillion is a daily trivia game with a twist: you're not trying to give the right answer, you're trying to give the rarest right answer. Each day brings 7 prompts like “Name a dog breed” or “Name a moon in our solar system”. You have 25 seconds per prompt. Say “Labrador” and you'll barely get wet. Say “Komondor” and you plunge into the deep.
Every point you earn sinks you 10 metres. A perfect score of 700 takes you 7,000 metres down, past the Titanic and into the hadal zone. The official game only lets you dive once a day — that's where Krillion Unlimited comes in.
How to play Krillion Unlimited
- Press Dive — Unlimited to start a round of 7 random prompts, or try today's Daily Practice set (the same 7 prompts for everyone).
- Type one answer per prompt before the 25-second timer runs out.
- Valid answers score 5–100 points depending on how many other players said the same thing.
- After each prompt you'll see the most common answers — the “clever” pick everyone else also thought of.
- At the end, copy your result and challenge your friends. Then dive again — there's no limit.

Tips for finding rare answers
- Skip your first thought. If it came to you instantly, it came to thousands of other players too.
- Skip your second thought, too. The “clever” answer is the trap — everyone who skipped the obvious one lands on it.
- Go specific. Not “bird” but “kakapo”; not “cheese” but “wensleydale”.
- Use your niche. Your job, hobby or hometown is a rare-answer goldmine.
- Watch the clock. A safe valid answer beats a blank — timeouts score zero.

What is Krillion?

What is Krillion Unlimited?
Krillion Unlimited is a free, unofficial practice version with no daily limit. Every round draws 7 fresh prompts from our bank, and rarity is calculated from the real answers of everyone playing here, so you can keep diving as long as you like.
How is the score calculated?
Each prompt is worth up to 100 points. We compare your answer with every answer players have given to that prompt. The most popular answer scores only 5 points; an answer almost nobody has thought of scores close to 100. A perfect round is 700 points — 7,000 metres, the trench floor.
Why was my answer not accepted?
Answers must match an item on our list for that prompt. We ignore capitals, punctuation, 'the' and simple plurals, and we accept common aliases, but very obscure or misspelled answers may not be on the list yet.
What does “one in a krillion” mean?
It's a play on “one in a million”: an answer so rare it feels like you're the only one who thought of it. In this game, that's the answer that sinks you deepest.
